General Information
There is a master's program with thesis within the graduate programs of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Bartın University Graduate Education Institute. The aim of these programs is to provide students with the skills to conduct research and produce solutions by considering the disciplines of Political Science and Public Administration with a scientific approach. Another aim of the programs is to train academicians who work or will work in the fields of Political Science and Public Administration.

Introduction of Political Science and Public Administration Graduate Programs
Political Science and Public Administration graduate programs; It is a program in which the causes of political and administrative problems occurring on a local, national and international scale are investigated, and the ability to look at the relations between social, political and economic phenomena from a broad perspective is gained.
Our graduate courses have rich content. Some of those; Development of Democracy in Turkey, Political Currents in Turkey, International Environmental Issues and Policies, European Court of Human Rights and Turkey, Political Ideologies, Religion and Politics.

The Goal of Graduate Programs in Political Science and Public Administration Department
Students are given the ability to understand and analyze political/administrative structures and processes. In addition, students are provided with a comprehensive training in methodology by strengthening their analytical skills. Through the programs, students are encouraged to participate in various scientific seminars and students' ability to work independently in academic/professional environments is tried to be increased. At the same time, it is aimed to increase the interest of students in different disciplines through an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teaching process.

Career Opportunities
Being an academician at state and foundation universities, prime ministry, ministries and their inspection boards, affiliated and related institutions at the level of undersecretariat and general directorate, various units affiliated to special provincial administrations, municipalities and local governments, public and private sector banks, private sector organizations and multinational companies and expertise.

Political Science and Public Administration Master's Program with Thesis
The master's program with thesis consists of at least seven courses provided that not less than 21 credits and 120 ECTS, a seminar, consultancy, lecture and specialization courses taken at the thesis stage. In order to graduate from the program, it is necessary to have at least 2.50/4 average. A student who successfully passes his/her thesis in the jury exam is entitled to a master's degree. The maximum duration of the program is three years.
